Water circulating problem

My Mercury 60Hp 'Bigfoot' was not circulating water. I assumed it was an impleller in need of changing but to my surprise found the impleller intact. Any other suggestions as to where i might look to rectify the problem? Thanks

Please provide serial number, to better understand the configuration of your motor.

Does the motor physically overheat?

What is your criteria for 'no flow'? No tell-tale visible, or no flow of water out the prop when running on muffs, or?

Hypothesis at this time:
Blocked tell-tale tubing (mudd daubers or other insects love to build nests in there).

Non-functional thermostat or poppet valve (if so equipped).

Installation issues, or missing/malfunctioning components in the water or exhaust circuit.

Thanks v much AMD Rules. It did indeed appear to simply be a blocked tell tale! Much appreciated - Great advice
