Yep, I need to remove that cover to clean the level floats that are stuck.

The cover seems to be glued or whatever, but I can't turn it. I tried with a strap wrench, but had to stop before breaking the plastic tabs.

Any way to soften the glue or silicone?

If it's 5200, the cover needs to be destroyed?

Yes, even if its 4200 it will probably be destroyed getting it off.

Is the sealant hard or soft?

it's not like epoxy hard, but very firm. I can dig my fingernail in it a bit but no mark left. Someone locally suggested me to try to cut as much as I can around it, and heat it with a hair dryer. I will try that first.
