Welcome aboard crusher. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to put a 65 on a barge that size (assuming no structural issues or questionable Bubba Mods
). Don't think there's ever been a 24 footer made that couldn't handle an 85, and most are good up to 115. By the way, as a matter of course it's generally better to start a new thread than to resurrect an older one. You'll get much better visibility that way, which usually means more and better responses. Good luck with the repower.
