Kenseth did a good job staying out of trouble. I heard them say only the top 15 weren't in some kind of wreck. That's Daytona!

Carl Edwards finished in 8th, and he had plenty of damage.

Congrats to Kenseth, Biffle, and Paul Menard on their great finishes.

I am a huge NASCAR fan and I missed this race.

It's ok though, because I was out buying my first boat!

Congrats to Roush Racing. I was pulling for Jr tho.

What a crazy night . Called to the hospital while they were repairing the track. After we flew the 92 yo heart attack patient I got to watch the green-white-checker. Crazy night!

In spite of all the wrecks I think they learned something from the shootout. Hard to call that improved car control, but it was better than the shootout. I can't even imagine the aerodynamic forces going on in a pack at 200 mph! Must be like shooting white water..

Congratulations to the survivors and to Danica for being running at the end.

They will take the additional lessons learned last night to Phoenix and have a cleaner race there.

JB, Just thinking about all the dynamics of running in the pack make you want to put on the suit and grab the wheel again? Exciting and way scary at the same time.

Burton was 5th. After a crazy nite, he can't be too disappointed. I'm not.... Not sure why Biffle didn't try for the win. They said he was protecting Kenseth, not buying it....... Didn't see any post race interviews. Couldn't keep my eyes open...

What a night!! What a Speedweeks period. Happy for those who survived it. Roush, Hendrick, Gibbs and RCR all looked strong at the end. That's good for NASCAR. I still can't stand the crap shoot that is plate racing, but it was entertaining for sure.

Biffle did a post race interview and said he expected that Jr would push him up to Kenseth.
But that the car just wouldn't suck up tight behind Kenseth.
He said it was like Kenseth suddenly had more power.

Said he and Jr needed a run to catch and pass Kenseth.

Figured he should have dragged the brake and held Jr back, and created a gap, so they could get a run, then he and Jr could pass Kenseth. At the same time, he was hesitant to try to hold Jr back, not knowing if Jr would stay and push, or pass him immediately and leave him hanging solo.

His final words, we all learned something there.

^^^^^ Thanks for the update. Interesting, since Jr had no problem going around Biffle when he pulled out right at the end...... That's ok, I'd rather see a fellow Wisconsonite win anyway.......
