Burton was 5th. After a crazy nite, he can't be too disappointed. I'm not.... Not sure why Biffle didn't try for the win. They said he was protecting Kenseth, not buying it....... Didn't see any post race interviews. Couldn't keep my eyes open...
Biffle did a post race interview and said he expected that Jr would push him up to Kenseth.
But that the car just wouldn't suck up tight behind Kenseth.
He said it was like Kenseth suddenly had more power.
Said he and Jr needed a run to catch and pass Kenseth.
Figured he should have dragged the brake and held Jr back, and created a gap, so they could get a run, then he and Jr could pass Kenseth. At the same time, he was hesitant to try to hold Jr back, not knowing if Jr would stay and push, or pass him immediately and leave him hanging solo.
His final words, we all learned something there.
