VRO vs Dual Non VRO

1995 Johnson 130 HP Model J130TLEOA.
I keep getting what appears to be shredded rubber in the carbs. I have 3 fuel filters.
Whats going on?

There are some fuel lines between the filters and the carbs. Maybe they are disintegrating?

Im replacing all fuel lines today. It's going to be a chore.
