volvo sx can use omc props???

my buddy has an '01 glastron 170, with a 4.3 and a volvo sx drive, and I'm trying to find him a used prop around here, but selection is very limited. i was told he can use the same props as an omc. is this correct?

Well, kind of. They use an OMC style prop but with a 19 spline hub. Count the splines on the propshaft and let us know what you have.
