Does anyone have the wheel base to know what pitch ring gear "Volvo Penta" used on their 4 cyl inline 2.3L inboard; 142 tooth count.?
I am getting calculations that point toward a American Stub (Fellows Stub) pitch of 12/14, but the 2.0 module metric pitch is also very close...... need to find a caliber/ mic large enough to measure OD accurately as a metal rule is all I have at hand.
Working on adapting a newer permenent magnet gear reduction Volvo replacement to an existing flywheel ring gear that is 12/14 pitch, 149 teeth.
