Hello,

CAn anyon tell me how difficult it will be to reset the timing after the timing belt as broke?

What potential damage could be done as a result?

Its going to be darn close as long as you aligned all the marks on all the pulleys when you put the timing belt back on. You did align all the pulleys with the marks right?

The valve pulley to the crank is the crtical one.

I know the single cam motors were non-interference engines. Not sure about the dual ones which is what you have I believe.

They are interference engines

Since you belt broke while running,, I'm not sure what you need to do at this point. I would probably make sure the pistons are all mid travel so valves can't hit, then set both cam marks to where the belts will line up, then set the crank by turning one direction or the other to get the mark in position, then turn the intermediate shaft to line up.

Here is a link to the OEM manual. It's going to be necessary.
