Volvo Penta 5.7 GXI Exhaust Riser

I just recently replaced both exhaust manifolds and risers on a raw water cooled VP5.7 TBI and when at idle the port riser seems much warmer than the stbd when I increase RPM's the port riser cools right down any suggestions as to what might be going on?

Ayuh,....... Probably noting,..... At idle, with little flow, both sides are rarely to never the same,.....
