Maybe this is a dumb question... I am trying to change the impeller in the seawater pump. Do I have to remove the stay bracket?

Yes you do. It is just 2 bolts and comes right off.

thanks!! They ended up being easier to get to than I thought?

Is there another impeller in the outdrive? I have had read differing opinions on this.

Not sure where you read differing opinions on this, but Volvo has NEVER used a raw water pump in any of it's outdrives.

No. There is only 1 impeller. If yours is on the front of the enigne then you do not have one in the outdrive. I dont know when these were changed over. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.
