hi guys ,new to all this boating fun ,having just bought my first boat, and very green behind the ears, the otherday i got onboard and pulled out the killswitch cord to attach my keys to ,and then tried to start the boat , half an hour later when id realised what id done , i put it back where it should be, and tried to start the engine, 20 mins later it started with a huge rev and then i left it tick over till warm then took it out for 20 mins, the waves were far to high for the likes of me, so i berthed it and went home, the next day i came back and it just would not start, i tried priming it i tried revving it in nuetral, it did start once with a high rev , then nothing, i turned it over until the battery died, and just hung my head , my new boat was not going anywhere, any ideas guys , i would really appreciate any ideas as i literally spent out on this boat and ive got no idea why it would just die on me
