volvo dou-prop ?

girlfriends daughter just put $$$ down on 09 glastron 255 with volvo drive ? any issues with duo-outdrive one should be aware of ? i know cobra's are not so good--but i know NOTHING about the volvo set up ? thanks i-boat members

Check for corrosion on the drive. VP has had trouble same as Mercruiser with the Bravo 3. Especially if it has stainless steel props. As with Mercruiser, I would imagine removing the props and checking the rear bearing carrier would be important. Also check out the power trim system. By 2009, * I think * VP had moved the pump outside the boat, in the transom shield area.
