vintage motor

I have a 1965 60hp evinrude 4 cyl outboard idle's great,when I advance the throttle out of high speed idle it stalls out. If I play with it by hand I can get it to run any ideas would help

Clean the carb...make sure the carb is synched to the throttle/timing advance.

I did this its running a little better but still boging down

see if pumping the bulb helps with this
