VIN location on a Tracker Marine trailer

Picked up a '89 Bass Tracker Pro 17 last week.

Found the VIN label on the trailer but the VIN has been wiped off after all these years.

Anyone know if, and where, the VIN might be stamped into the trailer frame?

Not sure. Did you get a title with the trailer?

No title. Boat trailers are not titled in MI.

I was able to register it without a VIN but if I can find the VIN on the frame the state will add it to the registration.

I would check in the tongue area. I am still able to read my sticker so I've never checked anywhere else.

On my 1990 Tracker trailer, I can still read the tag too. It is on the tongue. Funny... in MN they title trailers, but not 17' fishing boats (unless they have already been titled).
