i purchased an unfinished project of an 73/75 vickers easyrider here in australia, some verry bright former owner replaced the deck with chip board and well it hasnt lasted long at all, ive cut out the old rotted deck and supports, the stringers and transom are great, ive made new deck supports and coated them in resin ive also cut a new deck from construction grade cd ply and have glassed one side in about 600grm glass (about 4mm thick) deck thickness is now about 16mm for the underside of the deck does it need to have mat glassed on or is a few good coats of resin good enough?
