Vibration and rattling noise

My boat has a vibrating and rattling noise coming from my alpha drive II when I take off on my boat, it stops after I adjust the tilt, it starts up again when I make turns. Anybody know what this causes this problem?

Ayuh,... Bad U-joints, and/or Bad gimbel bearing...

Ayuh,... Bad U-joints, and/or Bad gimbel bearing...

And they usually go bad because the ujoint bellows failed and allowed water to get to them. Lack of maintenance is the cause of that failure.

I replaced the u joints, gimbal bearing and both exhaust and gimbal bellows in August 2009.
