Vibrating cowl

My 30 hp efi tohatsus cowl is I rating.seems a little loose fit.any way to tighten it up?

Apply 3M electric tape to the whole contour of the lower pan lip to lessen or get rid of the vibrating cowl noise. There should be a vulcanized rubber band located under front cowl that holds onto hook's lenght, if missing bend hook a little to close gap for cowl to stay firm onto front pan.

The seal or the latch may be damaged. Depending on the vintage, there may be upgraded/improved parts for each.
