Vacation in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario

Just got home from a very relaxing week in Ontario, right along the Ontario/Quebec border. Had a great time, did a little fishing, a little sightseeing, a little whitewater rafting ... just had a really nice time.

our rental pontoon ... felt like the "redneck fisherman" on this beauty:

Small perch the youngest caught ... she had a beauty largemouth (about 4 or 5 lb) on, but straightened her hook:

Nice photos. I spent a night in Bonnechere prov park on Round Lake two weeks ago while on our way to Algonquin for a week. Great area with countless lakes, streams and rivers. Hope you had better weather than we did.

We had a few intermittent rain storms, but the weather was pretty good over all, must have been there the week after you. They said there was a lot of rain the week before.
