The term "mastermind" for any of these driveby metality attempts at killing Americans is a bit of a stretch.I hesitate to refer to them as even perpetrators without an interpreter.Perhaps maybe "the misguided murdering ungroomed scumbag and his band of tunnel digging renegades" escaped would be more concise.<br /><br />Sorry for my vague opinion.

anyone actually read the investigation results ?<br />the US knows a lot more than CNN says.<br /> and the commaning officer of the cole at the time of the bombing was a helluva good man, I served with him on the USS Arleigh Burke and he was just as anal about damage control then as the capt was. it shows. otherwise how do you go from yoke to a 40ft hole blown at the waterline and the ship did not sink.
