i have a 81 25hp evinrude in looking to put a starter on it i look all over in have trouble finding any info or used bracket i have a starter in bracket for a 40hp but it not the same it wont fit love all the help i could get from you exsperts imay be posting in the right form sorry if iam

A starter bracket for your motor is used on 20-35 hp motors, for a certain span of years. I found a bracket w/starter and solenoid on ebay a couple years back, but the starter was toast. So buyer beware. Fortunately, a brand new starter was only $62 shipped to my door. Good luck.
