i would highly recommend you drive straight to the florist. I hear there is a nice car dealer right behind their building. flowers won't help you at all in this but a new ride might.............maybe.

Well, I am looking for an opinion here, I noticed my wife being cold toward me this morning and I finally got out of her what was bothering her. Last night we were having a conversation about others personal appearances, the conversation led toward our own, and in a joking playful banter between each other she commented on my balding and myself being somewhat overweight (6'2 240lbs) and I sometime in the conversation mentioned her teeth which are slightly off color, not fully white, but not black or brown by any means. I had no idea what had gotten her so mad, so after about 30 minutes of asking, she told me my comments were rude. I apologised and told her I was only jokingly poking fun, as she was doing, all is OK now, but am I in the wrong?? I dont think so.

HAHA. Just in case you didn't get the memo: It's ok for the missus to make those comments to you, but not the other way around. I think that's universal law. Good recovery though! Done the same thing myself.

Truth of it is we cannot control what people do or say only how we respond to it. He chose not to take her comments personally, she chose the other route.

When a bunch of guys work together and comments are meant to cut fast , hard, and deep. We get into that mentality and it is hard to turn off. We will make comments, and while they are coming out of our mouths the brain cannot react fast enough to switch off the voice box.
Case in point- wife told me her pants were getting hard to get into and she needed to start walking again. As she sat down eating cheesy potatoes and sucking down a pepsi, I told her I liked the size( not being polite I really do) but along with walking if she wanted to loose some weight maybe she should stop stuffing the carbs down her throat and cut back on the sugars. Brain was yelling ABORT,ABORT,ABORT...... The next night, I got home 15 minutes before she did, I set up the bubble bath and lit the candles, while she was in the bath I made chicken, veggies, and a salad. After that I took her out for ice cream.

Well, she doesn't like flowers and I bought her a new car three months ago (2010 Malibu LTZ).

in any event, she was over it that evening, time heals all in most aspects of life.

I love this about the internet, half the posts are constructive criticism the other half are trying to get the OP KILLED!

My Opinion is you put your foot in your mouth like the rest of us have at one time or another, love and affection go a long way.

Buy her this and her teeth will look so bight you'll have to wear sunglasses.

I use them and the dentist said its ok.



PS, I'm a smoker so thats why I use them.
