Me either, this will be fun. I know we raft up a lot during the summer with a couple people, but hopefully this will be a decent turnout of people we don't see a lot!

We'll probably be there in the late AM. I gotta go get a load of coal and shovel it into the bin first. I'm taking a half a day off Friday so I can fuel up the boat and get everything ready. Shoot, might even drop her in Friday night.

I committed myself to a pool party Saturday. Since I sold the owners the pool, I can't really get out of it (it's also a pretty good networking/sales opportunity). Hope yall have a blast!

We got there about 3 and nobody was there. Made a bunch of radio calls on 68 and 71 but no answers. Where did everybody go?

You were not in Cabin John Creek, because at least 6 boats were there at 3pm, along with some jet skis. And try hailing on 16 next time, THEN switch to another channel.

Another great day on the water with friends- old and new!
The raftup was on the south side of Cabin John only a couple hundred yards in from the Elk.

Shane, Sarah and I stayed overnight.
It was one of those perfect nights on the water- clear skies and still water.

Of course, we made up for it on Sunday morning..... I tried to beat the storm to HdG but didn't make it.
I was REALLY glad to have the lower helm because it came down hard for awhile.

Ooops, my bad. I should have threaded our way over there. We didn't see everybody behind those boats until we dropped anchor about 200 yds towards the Elk. Next raft-up if you see a small Bayliner cruiser with a blue Bimini looking lost, give a shout out for Sundae Float!

It was great to see everyone out there Saturday!! What q beautiful day, I don't think we could have asked for a better one. As others have said, it was great to connect with some old friends and meet some new ones as well.

This is the only pic we have, it is from when we were leaving and after Skargo already left. Should have thought to get one on the way in.

Hope to see you guys on the water again soon!

Good time out there! Thanks to everyone for watching over my boat for the whole day lol (mine is the ghost ship to the left in Blue Crabber's photo). I couldn't resist a 90 mph cruise on my buddy?s boat down to still pond. It was an amazing day out there!

Was definitely a good day! Rob, glad to hear you made it back without issue. We ended up hanging out until about 1:30 Sunday afternoon. I made some quick mods to my tabs, to get the nose down some, and then hustled in ( had her up to 31 mph and barely into 4bbls for a short burst)to beat the afternoon storm, which turned out to be little more than enough to annoy me running with the front helm windows open.

Post pics if you have them. I will transfer them over the FB site in an album (Scott, do I have the ability to create one?). All of my pics were on a disposable, so that will have to wait until it gets developed...

Was really great meeting everyone, and hope to see you all out again soon.

Shane, you can make an album under your profile, unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to create one in our Upper Chesapeake group on Facebook though.
