Upper Chesapeake Raft Up - 08/20/11

Who: Anyone
What: A raftup on the upper Chesapeake bay
When: Saturday August 20th ( I will arrive either Friday night, or early in the AM Saturday; If the weather is good, I may stay straight through until late afternoon Sunday)
Where: Cabin John Creek. (39.458467,-75.956657)
Why: Because it'll be a good time, and a chance to meet some of your fellow (i)boaters!!!


If you plug the coordinates into google maps (www.maps.google.com) you will get an idea of where it is.

Awesome! We are in. Going to have some family down that weekend so we might have extra people out with us. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and hopefully some new faces too!

I will make mention on if it on the other thread. Having a separate thread on it will make it easier for everyone attending to keep track of the happenings though...

Hey Shane - I guess that great minds think alike. I posted it on the other thread last night so everybody could see it over there. I agree with you though, I think having it separate will be easier to keep track of.

So what time is everybody planning on arriving? I should be there pretty early but will have to leave mid to late morning as we have some family coming down and they will want to ski and tube.

Shane, what time do you plan on arriving? Thinking I will have to leave around 10:30 or so. But i don't mind arriving early.

My "plan" is to get down to the marina early enough Friday evening to gas up, hitch up the ski, and head over. If I remember correctly, I am only showing 1/4 tank on the gas-o-meter, so if I can't gas up Friday, I will head over in the AM Saturday, but most likely will stay on the hook there Friday night.

Feel free to hail me (McKenna Renee) on 16 (I'll keep the WHAM on me). If I don't answer try me again.
