U joint bellow installation

Hello, I had to remove my u joint bellow to replace a leaky water inlet hose anyway got a new one on and the u joint doesn’t look like it’s sitting how it was is there any certain way to put it back in or does it go in either way

Yes, the bellows will have the words 'TOP' and 'AFT' on it. 'TOP' goes up and 'AFT' goes on the bell housing.

So top goes to the transom wall facing up and aft goes to the bell housing facing up ?
