Tube/Pipe for Routing Fuel Fill Line and Vent

Under my floor and foamed in place were two tubes like dryer vent line so that wires and the main fuel fill line can connect to the belly tank and the water tank (overnighter). Both of them were badly deteriorated so I need to replace them before I cover and floatation foam. One is 2 1/4 inch and the other is 3 inch. I am concerned that regular dryer hose will collapse under foam pressure and also that the "ribs" in the hose will snag anything I try to put through it. What has everyone used to make a "conduit" for the lines and wiring under the floor that allow a few bends? Would PVC conduit or water pipe be better for this than the ribbed dryer hose?

Dont know why you couldnt use pvc conduit and sweep fittings. I used 1" pvc for my floor drains. Something else.... if you need to bend it you can heat it and it becomes flexible and rehardens when cool. They make ovens to heat it up but i used a propane turbo shop heater when i did my drain. 3" would be a little harder to work with ti keep from kinking/collapsing

Thanks for the info. I will go with 3 inch pvc conduit and long sweeps if possible for space. I am going with new fuel fill hose, new vent hose, new water line and new wiring so shouldn't have to change it way into the future. Wasn't sure if there are any regs relative to pvc in a boat.

If/when you heat the pvc to bend it, fill it with play sand. It will keep the pipe from kinking. Also if you need to connect more than 2 pieces together you can flare the end. Heat the last couple of inches of the pipe then use a beer bottle push the neck down the pipe and it will flare with the shoulders of the bottle(depends on size of pipe). Couplers are cheap but I always seem to buy one less than I need.
