I have a 1977 OMC 190hp that I use for trolling salmon, in order to get it to desired speed I use a Happy Troller plate on the outdrive. Do these add any unwanted stress to the outdrive? (lower unit, gears ect) Thanks for the input
only if you forget to unlock it when you want to go somewhere. then the force from the prop breaks off the anti-cavitation plate that it is mounted to.
