Trolling motor speed

I am purchasing a 20' Glastron ski and fish, will the trolling motor on it, 55 trust Minnkota Powerdrive, have enough power to troll at 1-2mph or should I look into drift sock/bucket/protroller options?

The 20 foot boat in my signature uses a 55# and trolls without any issues. It will easily troll way too fast for you.
