Trolling Motor and Deckhand Anchor

I recently purchased a deckboat and am planning to put a deckhand 40 on the bow with a plate so I can swap between an anchor or trolling motor. While I do not have a specific trolling motor in mind, I would imagine I would be looking at a 24 volt or 36 volt motor. Can I have the deckhand and trolling motor connect to the same plug regardless of voltage or would it be better to have a separate battery for just the anchor to avoid any issues with voltage? Is there any other items to consider?

Welcome
You can use same batteries to power both windlass and trolling motor so long as the voltage matches the unit

Exp: can have a 36V trolling and 12 or 24V windlass but tap off Bats equal to windlass requirements
