RPJS is pretty amazing though. Laphroaig is my favorite scotch (probably picked that up here a few months back), There was a US vessel but it was the Missouri. There was an American sports team name, but it was Baseball (Cubs), and I actually considered the Qantas one.

Awesome

Dang. I had Missouri as my other choice for the ship, I picked Independance because I thought Missouri was to easy an answer.

I was pinning my hopes on the Australian answers, I had to toss a coin between JB's post count (19854) and Canberra.

I'm pleased you picked up on the Laphroaig, I thought I would give my answers the personal touch.

Here's hoping for better luck next week.

Re: Trivia 2-23-06

RPJS,

It is tough to balance the difficulty of the questions. Yes the Missouri was one that I want back as it was too easy, but I have a special affection for her as I was in Honolulu when she was towed in for retirement/enshrinement. We had just gone to the Arizona Memorial that morning. Great day for the kids!!

We had two questions go about 2 - 3 minutes before a correct answer last night. One was jtexas dog's name and the other was Andrew Leigh's country of residence.

In your honor, I had a couple of Europeanish type questions, The Hague location and the QM2.

I actually enjoyed some Laphroaig when I got home after the trivia last night ;)
