While on the trailer, have an assistant apply full weight to the drive: attempt to raise.
Failing to raise, check the fluid level and top up, cycle the unit several times to eliminate air.
Secondly, ensure that the trim pump has a dedicated, clean and electrically tight ground lead either directly to the battery or engine block.
Thanks Eddie,done all that we had the system apart while restoring the boat if I reversed the hose's and the wiring so as the LP side of the pump was trying to raise the drive would this cause the problem
