115 mariner. Quicksilver 3000 controls.
Also tilt at bow and on engine.
Start of season and everything seems ok but I notice a parasitic draw when I hook up the battery. I’m not sure what’s causing that but it seems like it may be related to the trim.

So today I get to a fishing spot 12miles from the launch. I stop the boat then I bump the shifter with my knee and the the tilt sticks on and I can’t get it off. I disconnect the battery.
I then disconnect a wire from the solenoid for up and connect the battery. I tilt down and drive in.

The controller seems to be a pain to get apart to fix the trim button.
I need to trim up to put it on the trailer. When on the water I just leave it in one spot as the boat jumps on plane with the high five prop.

Maybe I should wire in a separate trim button near the controller. What do you think?

Those switches go bad

This is up to you, can put new switches anywhere, but I would get into handle and fix.

Same thing (Quicksilver3000 as well) happened to me but while I was going 30mph down the lake. Ended up being that the trim wire at the throttle control was stripped at one small spot due to it resting on a screw. The neutral-to-forward repetitive motion over time wore the insulation off and was shorting the up-trim wire randomly on the bolt.

I pulled it all apart and cleaned the switch.
The trim worked perfectly for a few cycles and then it stopped. I just get a click at the solenoids now.
What is wrong with?

Might be the plug connection next to the pump, Look for a black rubber plug with 3 wires
