Don't like the FACTS huh!
Facts?!?!?!?! LOLOLOLOLOL, your littlle opinions don't make them facts. You are quite ridiculous, and I hope someone with no tabs experience doesn't accidentally take your ranting as facts, instead of the wrong opinions they actually are.:facepalm::facepalm:

No offense, but If you don't know what your talking about, maybe you shouldn't try.. You have brought nothing to the table! Again, Have you used smart tabs? Well, have you?

Again, show me your performance numbers before you had trim tabs and then after you installed. Then we have a discussion! Ohh, you don't have any performance numbers do you? By the way, One other FACT is, Nauticus has a Gaurantee to back up there claims of performance improvements. If you don't like them , return them.:D

You don't have to go away mad, just go away!lol:D

Guys, this has to stop. While I'll never understand chris' insistence that SmartTabs are "better" than helm adjustable (yes, I have operated both), it is not an objective discussion as there are variables and personal preference that cloud the discussion.

No winner. Both of you go away now.

You are quite a troll, newb. Guess no one told you "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt"?

QC, Like others here, you seem to convert what I say into me saying Nauticus is better. Not to be rude, but its like people really don't read what I write. I have stated many times that helm controlled tabs are better sometimes on some boats. Nauticus tabs bring different variables to the table and I do have the numbers and the experience to back up what I say.

So its clear, there is no better tab than the other, they are for different applications and it is up to the individual to decide what performance he wants his tabs to bring to the table. I'm not any more insistant on anything than anyone else. I just try and give people who ask like the op the options that are available. I am insistant that they work well at providing great performance, because they do!

By the way, as in our other thread where we did discuss your friends boat having nauticus tabs, if he had a loss of speed, he should have adjust them properly to one of the other mounting holes.
2 to 4 mph increase at Wot is in the Nauticus Guarantee. If your not seeing that, there is probably an adjustment that needs to be done. I have no dog in this fight anymore, the op has already thanked me for the information. Good day:)

I really do appreciate everyone's input and feel that I've got more than enough information to make my decision, but I think I will keep this one to myself.

Whats great about this forum is that everyone has taken time to help me understand the pro's and con's of each one. I look forward to learning from each one of you in the future.

Hopefully, someone else finds this thread and is able to make an informed decision, since this discusstion came from people that have experience using the different types of trim tabs available vs hearing it from a salesman.

Thanks to all,
-Alex

This forum really is great Alex. many different opinions, all based on good experience. We all can't be the same, that's for sure! Best of luck whichever way you go. The important thing is we all enjoy safe, fun boating!
