Replaced original Yamaha trim motor April 2011 with an aftermarket. (don't remember brand). Saltwater entered around the rubber grommets where the wires enter on top of the motor and the motor is now shot. I know an aftermarket is not the same quality as OEM parts but thought it would have lasted longer than it did. Is it worth the considerable extra money to buy OEM or did I end up with a lemon part? What aftermarket brand is the best for the money?
