Trim issues on 97 sea ray

My friends 97 sea ray had issues last year which we determined was the trim pump motor. Replaced it this spring but now it will only go down with the rocker switch and up with the trailer button on the side of the throttle lever. Any ideas? We did replace one solenoid when trouble shooting last fall. Maybe just bad connections?? I can't look at it until later this week and thought I would get some other input before then.

Probably a defective or out of adjustment trim limit switch.
