Trim and tilt cap removal

I was looking for the trim tilt cap removal tool for a 1979 Evinrude 85 hp. The part number omc324958 is what I received from a company. I am needing to know if it is correct. I have already tried a expanding pin wrench and no luck. I have even used penetrating oil and let it soak for 2 days.I have bought a couple of pin wrench tools and no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the question so if I find 324958 it is the correct tool trim cap removal for the 79 Evinrude. The boat places around here will not tell me if this removal tool will work they want to charge me a 100 bucks to find out.

The description says it fits most everything Evinrude except for Faststrike units.....not cheap at $65, but if the pin holes get buggered up you got another problem.

All right I appreciate the help I have bought 3 different wrenches and none have work so I will give this a try.

Maybe I will but your the 2nd one to say that is the right tool for the removal trim cap.

Good luck.....whatever you do, don't use a vice to hold the cylinder when removing the cap.....I found out the hard way.
