They also put on a nightly Boat show with lighted boats doing skillfull dance routines which is quite nice. Try the Walleye at Jeff Purveys Fish & chips http://www.restaurantica.com/on/pet...-seafood-restaurant-tavern/23003410/...almost as good as our newfie cod......I said almost ...
have a great trip

Unfortunately the Wed and Sat concerts at Little Lake no longer feature the boats. They sold all those boats off 2 or 3 years ago.

The elderly guy who ran that summer concert series passed away, and the festival has dwindled since. Only 1 or 2 big name acts per summer and no boats - not sure if there is any fireworks either anymore.

Went into Jeff Purveys about a year ago - wow... they have let it go - it was filthy and service was terrible. I'd pass on that and walk uptown to St Verona's or Hot Belly Mama's...

Make sure to bring winter jackets, dry suits for PWC; and waterproof gear; summer ends here around July 20th and some of those lakes, including Lake Simcoe don't get very warm. Last year it rained every Saturday and a cold wind was blowing.

Well it looks like you have picked the best year of this millenium - it has been above 80* for the month of July and the weather people say it will continue thru Sept. Lakes are warm and no rain in sight, I haven't worn a sweater or winter jacket since June and spend my weekends in and on the lake.
