In my opinion, NOOOOOOOO. Chipboard has far less strength than plywood. Also, when it gets wet it swells very easily and then rots quickly. Plywood, when it does get wet will maintain it's integrity for some time. When you compare the cost of this material vs, Aurocco exterior A or B and considering the small amount you have to purchase, the savings are negligible comparing having to do the job again in a couple of years.

Jeep Man is right. Go for abx, bcx ply. Also there are other options like marine grade ply but gets costly. They others you can get at HDblows or Blowes.

Absolutely NOT! It will flake apart in short order because it isn't assembled with exterior glues and really just doesn't have the strength for a quality floor or transom. Go for the best exterior plywood you can find. I used their 3/4" (actually 23/32" plywood) for my transom doubled up, and 1/2" (actually 15/32" plywood) for the floor... You just can't find 3/4" and 1/2" plywood anymore since they figured out that for every 1/32" they can save, the can make a free one for the 32nd sheet... Doesn't sound like much until you realize how many sheets those places go through. JMHO!
