Hi,
I bought a new 70HP outboard that has a built in trim/tilt and am considering mounting it to my old manual panther trim as the manufacturer seems to recommend not using the built in trim/tilt during transportation as it puts strain on it.
I'm thinking of using my old trim/tilt panther 135 for transporting the boat/motor so there is no stress as well as allowing me to move the engine about 8-10" back from the transom to hopefully get cleaner water during regular operation.
What do you guys think?
