Transom on Dejon 14ft

Hi what do people think is the best way to stiffen the transom on a dejon 14ft fishing boat.We have just upgraded our outboard engine and it needs to be strengthened up. Any answers on how to do it and what materials is best to use would be great

How much engine did you add to the transom? If you stayed with the hp recommended for the boat the transom should not be flexing. If it is (and you did not add too much HP/ weight) you may have some problems that need to be addressed.
The best way to get an answer is to post some pictures of the boat so we can see what you have.
