I pulled a very dumb move over the weekend and snapped the motor off the back of my boat. I backed up the trailer without lifting the outboard, and caught the skeg on the edge of my driveway.
Its an electric start tiller 1988 30 HP
The only parts that look to be damaged are the cast aluminum transom brackets. They snapped in a couple places.
There are a couple used parts on Ebay, but the best looking one is from a 1983 model
I was hoping someone in the know could tell me if any of these older clamps would fit my motor.
Here are just the clamps off a 1977
Here is the entire swivel assembly (of which I only need the cast aluminum clamps) from a 1983
Here is an assembly from a 1988, but the paint is all peeled off and looks to be in rough shape.
Can someone help me out with cross referencing just the transom clamps?
Thanks!
