Transom Angle?

Hey Ya'll,

I'm building a Pontoon Boat and I'm wondering what the proper angle is for the transom. I've done some research and I've seen everything from 10 to 15 degrees but what is the proper angle? I'll be running a 70 HP Johnson but I don't think thats gonna matter. Thanks in Advance!

The motor has power tilt & trim so it doesn't matter. Either will work but I would use 10 degrees to ensure the engine can be trimmed full down.

I believe at Bennington we use 16 degrees but anything from 10-15 should work fine.
