Stupid question, sorry. My 5star trailer has surge brakes. I understand how they work, but was wondering how one would test the hydraulic brakes?? How can I be sure they are working properly? Thanks!
if they are disk then uplug the wiring harness from the tow vehicle and try to back up. If drum You would know if they are/aren't working so i guess the key word would be "properly." Adjust them (search the threads on best way) and then test drive.
