Towing weight

I just purchased a 1991 Sport Craft 16' Bowrider with a 100HP Merc outboard. I am trying to find out what the approximate towing weight of this would be with a trailer.

I have a 96 windstar with only a Class 1 hitch which is good for 2000Lbs towing and 200Lbs tounge weight.

I am only twoing this to a lake and then leaving it there, but i want to make sure I am safe to pull it with my current set up.

I would guess that rig at 1500-1800lb, Paul.

I would not tow it with a class I hitch or a Windstar.

If you are going to take it to the lake and leave it there, borrow a proper tow vehicle.

Rental trucks are pretty inexpensive for local use.
