I agree It is expensive. But it's kind of like a swiss army knife it has everything you need.
And it does have low range with locking center and rear differentials with the ability to brake wheels that slip individualy.Originally posted by Navigator:
Trollhole,
But for the price of the engine upgrade, you can buy a new "spare" Full size truck.

I love the VW diesel engine. I wish it was just a bit more affordable.

Nav
PS: I was a VW diesel owner and they make excellent vehicles. I would buy one again in a heartbeat.
Ok here you go AAC

The AAC is what you wantTrollhole,
Its kind of funny, most auto manufacturers build pickups then scramble to make an engine strong enough to put in them...

VW on the other hand, has a slew of great powerplants, but no truck body. I think the V10 TDI would sell like crazy over here if they had a full size truck to put it in Heck, I'd buy it!
Realgun,
You're comparing Apples,+ Oranges............

A Tractor(of a Tractor/Trailer) is Supposed to carry 50%/60% of the Load..........
Unlike a Truck/Trailer, which more resembles the typical boat trailer rig, Should be loaded to a 10%/15% tongue weight......

Now, I can tell you from Experience, That loading Either combination to the Load Ratio of the Other combination,
Can get you Killed, Very Easily......

I Still say that photo is an Accident looking for a place to Happen...................

The Tail WILL Wag the Dog.............Bondo-
Now let me ask this, is any tractor as in an 18 wheeler heavier than the trailer? Not in this lifetime it weighs 3 times as much! When fully loaded. And I dont see you bashing that.
