Torsion Axle Repair

I'm thinking of buying a tandem axle trailer with torsion suspension. The guy broke off one of the torsion arms, so no wheel on that side of that axle. I can't seem to find a replacement torsion assembly. Where can I get one. I'm a competent welder and mechanic to do the repair just can't seem to find a supplier.

I'm thinking they aren't repairable in the field. Spindles are, but not the torsion arm ...

You are probably going to have to replace the whole axle. The torsion axle assembles are not weldable or repairable.

Welcome aboard.

You MUST match the other axle so you need to find out what the OEM is because it is a tandem trailer.

Search up Dexter Axle. I think you can get em at etrailer.com

They are replaceable, a buddy of mine just replaced one side on his trailer.

He ground off the welds and took it into these guys and they matched it up, then had it welded on.
