1/2 X 20 lugnuts on autos are usually torqued to 90 Foot Pounds

Yes they are 1/2 X 20 lug bolts, are they torqued the same as lugnuts?

90 to 100 is generally considered the MAX before you start deforming the stud, the actual torque depends on the wheel type. Steel wheels deform more than alloy and require lower torque.

I'd shoot for around 75 ft/lb's.

I use 90 to 100 ft lbs on my car truck and 2 boat trailers

Make sure you don't lube them if you are using that torque. That's a dry spec torque.
