Re: Too much Oil in the gas.....
A little bit of extra oil won't hurt. Too much, tends to cause a slight loss of power, but as long as you don't give it a steady diet of that, like Djohns says... no problem... Doubleing it up is NOT what's recommended, so I agree with djohns... follow the mfg's fuel/oil ratio recommendations, and it will be fine...

Plugs that are "fouled" enough to cause the motor to mis-fire, can sometimes be temporarily "fixed" and re-used for a short period, as has been stated, but once fouled, they typically are not long for this world, nor providing the strength of spark that a new plug is capable of...

As the plugs get less and less capable of firing the "as-new" spark strength, the combustion process will not get off to as good a start as with a new set of plugs, thus the combustion tends to be some small percentage incomplete, and will eventually lead to reduced power, or worse yet, a fuel load that is still burning as it exits the cylinder, which in the worst case scenario has the possibility of creating a "hot-spot" in the cylinder. Basically the same effect as slightly retarded timing, which can lead to detonation.

2-strokes, because of the other noises they make, are VERY difficult (if not impossible) to audibly detect when detonation ("pinging") is taking place, thus they are more susceptable to internal engine damage, before you "hear" anything going wrong.

New Plugs are WAY cheaper than the possible alternative. I keep a complete spare set (and the wrenchs required) on the boat at all times, so should they foul for any reason, I have back-ups with me.

It's no more expensive to carry them around, than it is to lose a day on the water, fooling around trying to get it to run right... or worse.

Good Luck, Obiwan
