Too much boat?

$1.3M according to the salesman I worked with on my little Regal. Marine Technology V42. Four 450 hp Mercs. A lot of boat for the upper Mississippi.
A few years ago a local deep pocket boater showed up with a 42' Formula Crossover w/4 300 hp BRPs. I guess this dealer saw it as a challenge. Our pool is just 19 miles long between L&Ds. A round trip won't take long in this beast.
The dealer's son was out in this last weekend. ...I reckon he's in no hurry to sell it.

Weird: I've been seeing several boats similar to that one trailering North through the Nashville area. I know they're pricey ... very nice lookin' but WAY outta' my league.
