Tom Brady, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Patriots flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, Tom," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."

Tom felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with BLACK & GOLD sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous STEELERS logo flag, and in every window, a TERRIBLE towel.

Tom looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even won a few Super Bowls."

God said "So what's your point, Tom?"

"Well, why does Roethlisberger get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said: "Tom, that's not Roethlisberger's house, it's Mine."

No matter how good he is under pressure and his ability to adapt to new players inserted into thier system I still just cannot find it in me to like him. I always felt the same about Roger Stallbach and the Cowboys for that matter. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always liked Tom, even when he was playing college ball but I much rather hang out with his wife.

Re: Tom Brady passes ...

(I heard a similar but different version....:))

Peyton Manning, Drew Breese and Tom Brady are standing before
God at the throne of Heaven.
God looks at them and says, "before granting
you a place at my side, I must first ask you what you believe in."

Addressing Manning first he asks, "what do you believe?"
Peyton looks God in the eye and states passionately, "I believe football to be the food
of life. Nothing else brings such unbridled joy to so many people from
East to West, and north and South in this great land. I have devoted my life
to bring such joy to people who live and die supporting their club."

God looks up and offers Johnson the seat to his left.

He then turns to Breese,
"and you, Andrew, what do you believe?"
Drew stands tall and proud, "I believe courage, honour and passion are the fundamentals to life and
I've spent my whole playing career providing a living embodiment of these
traits."
God, moved by the passion of the speech offers the seat to
his right.

Finally, he turns to Brady, "and you, Tom, what do you
believe?"
"I believe..." says Brady "...you're sitting in my seat."

I've always liked Brady too when he came into the NFL. Seemed like then, the Pats did their job, win, and moved on to the next game. They weren't show boaters. They took care of business. They seemed to keep their nose clean too. They weren't in the news for negative activities. If they were, we didn't hear about it. Not that I'm a Belichick fan, but I like how he thumbs his nose at the NFL by dressing down for games..... I guess when you win 3 Super Bowls you can get away with it....

"Playing out side the rules" would be closer to the truth.;);):D

Or even perhaps it could even be said they were "cheating". I don't put any of the blame for this on Brady it falls upon the coaching staff. They were the ones doing the filming of the Jets defensive signals. I'll call it like it is, they were cheating.

There will always be that stain on Brady. Did they cheat? Who knows. Also how long had they been doing that? Not a Brady fan here.

Unsportsmanlike?....maybe.
Cheating?....are you serious? How is that cheating?

If you don't want the "enemy" deciphering your communications, use a better system. Don't whine if you screwed up.

Sounds like some folks just don't like a winner.

Just for the record I never said I did'nt like winners. I just don't like Brady he is a product of a great system and I do respect his ability to adapt. And as for Stabach know one I know that was a fan of the Steelers and Vikes of the 70's liked the Cowboys or thier players.
