tilt/trim

my switch "up" button does not work on the throttle stick however the "down" button does. when I press the trailer button on the stick, the motor trims up. can anyone suggest what i need to do to figure out what's wrong with it.

It would help to know more specifically what you are working on.... but my guess would be a faulty trim limit switch. or corroded wires.

i second that one...mine does the same.my trim limit switch is bad.

Quick fix is to link out the limit switch. If you do that, be aware that you can tilt the drive UP all the way on the UP switch.
